DIPLOMAS AND DEGREES
SÉNECA EDUCACIÓN has created SEÑOR ESPAÑOL, the most important, complete and effective Spanish language method, both audiovisual and multimedia, in three levels, capable of making any student successful in the learning of the language of Cervantes, spoken today by over 400 million people; a language seen by many as the great alternative to the English language.
SEÑOR ESPAÑOL students follow a continuous evaluation process, based on the standards set by personalized tutorial actions (PERSONAL TUTOR), undergoing periodic DEGREE TESTS for each of the MODULES that each learning LEVEL is divided into. Within each LEVEL, once a student has overcome the first three MODULES, he is presented with a CERTIFICADO DE GRADO. Once these tests have been passed, students sit the LEVEL EXAM, to obtain the DIPLOMA DE NIVEL.
Each DEGREE TEST, corresponding to each of the MODULES that comprises the various LEVELS of SEÑOR ESPAÑOL, is carried out in an electronic format that each student must complete and send via INTERNET to his or her PERSONAL TUTOR for evaluation. Once all the necessary corrections have been made, each student will have the exercises returned to him or her, not only check the scores obtained but, also, to see what evaluation he or she has been awarded by the PERSONAL TUTOR, based on how the student’s learning curve has evolved. This evaluation is reflected in a brief comment that will be enclosed, along with each exam model delivered, and then corrected.
Those LEVEL EXAMS that lead to the obtainment of DIPLOMAS DE NIVEL require physical attendance by students. SEÑOR ESPAÑOL students will duly be informed as to whether they have passed the five DEGREE TESTS, for each LEVEL, as well as being informed of the dates and places where the exams will be held.
The complete list of CERTIFICATES and DIPLOMAS that SEÑOR ESPAÑOL students will obtain, throughout the three COURSES the method consists of, reads as follows:
NIVEL FUNDAMENTAL:
NIVEL AVANZADO:
NIVEL SUPERIOR:
EXÁMENES D.E.L.E.
Those SEÑOR ESPAÑOL students who pass the tests leading to the obtainment of DIPLOMAS DE NIVEL, stand a good chance of passing the EXAMENES D.E.L.E., organized by the INSTITUTO CERVANTES, and which allow for the obtainment of official diplomas, as awarded by the SPANISH MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND CULTURE.
There are, at present, three types of D.E.L.E.:
The exams take place twice a year, in the months of May and November.
