Yet, over the past three decades, a process of diversification over the current classic educational pattern began, that turned toward long-distance teaching via methods which, today, would be described as obsolete: sound cassettes, texts and graphics on printed paper, and some initial experiencing in multimedia computer-graphics.
The appearance of telecommunications networks in their different modalities, ISDN, ADSL, UMTS, fiber optics, radio electric frequency, satellites, etc., today allow for the global transmission of information, data, voice and image.
These nets, already operative, and multiplying at an incredible speed, allow SÉNECA EDUCACIÓN to transmit its own audiovisual contents under any telecommunications system or, alternatively and in consequence, for those places where it is not still possible the convey images, to contribute valid user solutions, based on such platforms as CD-ROM, DVD or others.
